Rick Shoyer, the Manager of Advanced GeoServices Corp. Turnersville, New Jersey office and a Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP), was recently appointed as the Brownfield Coalition of the Northeast’s (BCONE) representative on the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protections’ (NJDEP) Site Remediation Advisory Group (SRAG) and Cooperative Venture Group (CVP). BCONE’s mission and objective is to provide education on the benefits of brownfield remediation and sustainable redevelopment and to work with member states and brownfield stakeholders to facilitate brownfield cleanups within member states. The NJDEP SRAG/CVP meetings are a valuable opportunity for stakeholders to meet with Department personnel to discuss specific technical and administrative issues concerning their constituencies. These meetings are an interactive forum where targeted information is presented and problems and issues are discussed and resolved. The goal of the Site Remediation Program is to make the remedial process more transparent, predictable and efficient. These meetings help achieve that goal and promote the Department’s Stakeholder process. Advanced GeoServices’ civil engineering, geotechnical engineering and environmental services are an ideal blend for any brownfield redevelopment project.
Feel free to contact Rick for issues or topics that you would like either organization to address.
