Advanced GeoServices is pleased to announce that Joseph P. Chiappetta, LSRP has joined us as a Senior Project Consultant Joe will help expand our presence in New Jersey by working with Tim FitzPatrick in our northern New Jersey Office and Rick Shoyer in our southern New Jersey office. He will also assist with projects originating out of our West Chester, PA headquarters.
Mr. Chiappetta has been working in the environmental industry since 1999, performing soil and groundwater investigations. Tasks performed included preliminary assessments, historical research, due diligence surveys, site investigations, development and implementation of soil, sediment. surface water and groundwater sampling plans and the delineation of subsurface soil and groundwater contamination. Mr. Chiappetta has extensive sediment sampling delineation and remediation experience. He has designed creative, cost effective solutions to a variety of complex environmental problems and has served as an effective liaison between clients and regulatory agencies. Mr. Chiappetta has successfully negotiated closure of numerous ISRA, BUST, and MOA cases using a natural attenuation approach, including the use of CEAs, Deed Notices and Remedial Action Permits. He has been involved with numerous Superfund and NJDEP Hazardous Discharge Site Remediation Fund (HDSRF) Sites, including being the lead investigator on two Superfund sites. He has sat on Brownfield’s Development Area (BDA) Steering Committee and has served as a consultant to several Superfunds potentially responsible parties (PRP) groups. Mr. Chiappetta has twelve years of experience in the performance of wetland determinations and wetlands permitting, including endangered species determinations and six years experience in the performance of ecological risk assessments.
In addition to being certified as a New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (NJ LSRP), Joe is a NJDEP certified Subsurface Evaluator & UST Closure. He is a Risk/Loss Committee member of the Licensed Site Remediation Professional Association (LSRPA).
