Evaluation, Design of Improvements for a
200,000 GPD Wastewater Plant Expansion
East Berlin, PA
Lake Meade is a 520-home, resort-style residential community in
central Pennsylvania which had a wastewater treatment plant that was not in
compliance with regulatory discharge limitations. Advanced GeoServices
personnel prepared the design for an
expanded 200,000 gpm treatment system to replace the existing, undersized
treatment system. Our services also included regulator permitting,
construction bidding and construction oversight. |

Approvals
Coatesville, PA
To accommodate Valley Township's new development, we provided concept and
detailed design and secured regulatory agency approvals for a
480,000 gpd public water supply system. This project has involved
the drilling of wells, provision for water testing and treatment and the
design and construction of a well water pumping station and a 150,000-gallon
elevated water storage tank. |

Public Water System Design and Regulatory Approvals

Advanced GeoServices professionals supervised well placement and testing, completed a detailed
design and submitted permit applications for a 180,000 gpd community water system that was dedicated to the Southeastern Chester County
Authority. The system serves two subdivisions and augments the
Authority's existing water supply via an interconnecting transmission line. |

dewatering sanitary sewage sludge prior to transporting to an off-site
landfill or composting operation. The work included a a preliminary engineering report, cost estimating, preparing
regulatory permits, plans and specifications for
construction bidding and construction inspections. |

Removal Systems for Pump Water Supply

Advanced GeoServices personnel engineered a 350 gpm hydrocarbon removal system consisting of
pump systems, stripping tower, activated carbon fillers and chlorination
system. Provided engineering services related to land planning
approval for the subdivision as well as engineering and regulatory permits for the
gravity sewer system to serve the development. |
